We are looking forward to an exciting year of wonder, creativity and incredible learning!
This term in English we are looking at narrative "The Last Wolf", exploring various retellings of Little Red Riding Hood and other fairytales. We are reading longer chapter texts to expand our reading horizon. In Maths we are practising writing our numbers as words, fractions (1/2 and 1/4), telling the time to the hour and half past and looking at money. 

In Science we are exploring how different plants grow. In Humanities we are following the lives of famous explorers and then jetting off to Shanghai to see how different it is to live there.  In Art we mixing primary colours into secondary colours.

 

Class Routines:

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. 
Please ensure your PE jumpers and cardigans are labelled clearly to help identify them. Please bring a reusable water bottle every day to keep you hydrated. Home Readers are to be brought in daily and changed weekly on a Friday.

If you have lost or damaged a home-reader a £5 charge letter will be issued.

-Spellings, Reading and Maths are given out on a Friday and expected back on the following Friday.
