We are delighted to welcome you for what promises to be an exciting year filled with learning, creativity and new challenges.
This term, we will be diving into a wide range of engaging topics: in Religious Education (RE), we are exploring Judaism and Advent, and in Science, we are investigating Light and Reflection. In Humanities, we will be answering the question, "Why Does Population Change?" Our core focus in Mathematics will be on developing mastery in Fractions.
For English, we will be reading a story like Like the Wind and finishing our current class read, Holes, before starting our new book, The Tempest. Students will also develop their writing skills by producing a Flashback Narrative and a Newspaper Report.
Class Routines:
PE days are on Mondays and Fridays please ensure you are in correct PE uniform on these days.
Water bottles are permitted in the classroom and can be refilled throughout the day
Homework / Spellings:
Homework will be given out on a Monday and should be returned on a Thursday.
Homework will consist of weekly spellings, Maths that we have been learning that week and either a comprehension or SPaG focus.
