Year 2 have been learning about the structures of playground equipment, we have begun to build structures using recourses around our school.
We made some Roly Poly's
Year 1 investigated how wheels and axles worked. We looked at different ways of making them, then we planned, built, tested and evaluated our Roly Poly. We found out that if you put the wheels in different positions, the Roly Poly would move in different way. We used cardboard tubes and wheels to make them. The best part was when we took them outside to test them. That was great fun!
