Year 5
Welcome to Year 5. Our class teacher is Mr. McQuiston.
Our class school councilors are Michael Lisney and Chloe Davies.
- Our class will be taking two trips out this half term. The first is to Liverpool Cricket Club to watch the International Tennis Tournament. The second is to Jodrell Bank Space exploration in Macclesfield. Both trips will be great fun!
- Our new school library is up and running! Children have the opportunity to visit it and choose books to read for pleasure. There is a fantastic choice of brand new books for all ages.
- Our school iPads are up and running! If you know of any good educational apps, please let me know.
- Bring your PE kit in every Monday and leave it in school until Friday before taking it home again. P.E. is on Monday's and Thursday's.
- Homework goes out on a Friday and is due back the following Thursday. It is expected that homework is completed to a high standard.
- Homework will include spellings, times tables, reading and either an English or a maths activity. Sometimes, it may include some topic research.
- Reading should be done every evening. Please complete the reading records, including any other reading that you do.
